The students of St. Peter’s High School Kompally – Hyderabad have conducted a few activities on the topic Avoid Climate Change- One Iceberg at a Time as part of the British council school award.
The students studied about climate change and conducted many studies. They shared their findings with the partner school- The New School Dhaka, Bangladesh via a Skype conference and a Scrap Book.
Students on both schools exchanged valuable information and data on the Historical Importance of Oceans, Use of Traditional Products in daily life and its effect to minimize sea level rise, Anthropogenic causes that accelerate sea level rise, loss of habitats and smothering of coral reefs. In addition, our students also interacted with the Social Scientist at the Pollution Control Board to gain a deeper understanding into this imminent threat.
