World Nature Conservation Day 28th July ‘2024

On the occasion of *World Nature Conservation Day*, students of St. Peter’s High School, Kompally, participated on 27th July’2024 in a walk to raise awareness about environmental conservation.

The event aimed to emphasize the importance of protecting and preserving our natural resources for future generations. The students carried banners and placards with messages advocating for sustainable practices, reducing waste, and protecting wildlife habitats.

The walk highlighted the enthusiasm and commitment of the younger generation toward environmental stewardship and the need for collective action to address ecological challenges.

Van mahotsav Celebration

St. Peter’s High School, Kompally, celebrated Van Mahotsav week with great enthusiasm by organizing a series of events. The week commenced with a special assembly where students gathered to discuss the significance of trees and their crucial role in maintaining ecological balance, emphasizing the need for conservation and sustainable living.

The highlight of the week was a tree-planting drive, where students actively participated in planting saplings around the school premises. This hands-on activity not only beautified the surroundings but also instilled a sense of responsibility towards nature in the young minds.

The celebration of Van Mahotsav at St. Peter’s High School aimed to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of nature among students, encouraging them to become proactive stewards of the environment.

Doctor’s Day Celebration

St. Peter’s High School in Kompally celebrated Doctor’s Day on July 1, 2024, with a special event dedicated to promoting oral health and recognizing the contributions of healthcare professionals. The school had the honor of hosting two renowned dental care specialists, Dr. Amar Prasad and Dr. M. Sai Shankar, who conducted an informative and engaging workshop for the students.

The workshop focused on various aspects of oral hygiene and dental care, including the importance of regular dental check-ups, proper brushing and flossing techniques, and the impact of diet on oral health. Dr. Prasad and Dr. Shankar provided valuable insights and practical tips to help students maintain healthy teeth and gums.
